I encourage customers to refer to excellent books, such as 'Aromatherapy for Animals', by Caroline Ingraham, 'The Complete Herbal Handbook for the Cat and Dog' and/ or, 'The Complete Herbal Handbook for Farm and Stable' both by Juliette de Baracli Levy, 'The Natural Remedy Book for Dogs and Cats' by Diane Stein or 'All you ever wanted to know about Herbs for Pets' by Mary L. Wulff-Tilford and Gregory L. Tilford in order to understand how best to use herbs for your animals. (These should all be available through Amazon). Macerated Herbs

Herbs are seeped in a base oil so the active properties are transmitted to it, then the dry herbs are strained leaving a macerated oil. Dogs, cats and horses love to receive their herbal remedies in this form.
