Trooper the dog
'Six months ago I was seriously concerned about my dog's health. He had been diagnosed with arthritis and was taking natural supplements and anti inflammatory drugs daily. He went from a dog who loved to be out and about chasing things to one I had to persuade to walk even a few yards in an incredibly short space of time. His movements were very stiff and he was obviously in pain. The medication helped to a certain extent but the side effects developed and it had to be stopped.

I'd seen one of Leigh's posters about the use of magnets for arthritic pain so decided to try a collar with Trooper. I had no expectations one way or another.

Within a couple of weeks there was an improvement in his mobility and now people comment on the remarkable difference in him. He's not running round like a puppy (he is nine and a half years old and could do with losing a few pounds) but his legs are moving as they should now and he's back to enjoying his long walks, chasing the odd stick and climbing on the furniture.

I am delighted with the results and don't hesitate to tell people what I believe made the difference.

When I first got the collar, Leigh made no promises it would work, but it most certainly has!!'

Ebony the cat
'Ebony is our six year old cat , who was diagnosed with colitis two years ago…..she also appeared depressed and slightly nervous, which was reflected in her coat which was turning grey and dull. The vet couldn't offer an explanation for this so we decided on a consultation with Leigh. Leigh took a totally holistic approach to Ebony's symptoms and offered her a choice of oils to try. After a 14 day period we noticed a marked all round improvement ; a few months on and Ebony is a much happier, healthier cat with a beautiful black shiny coat and new found confidence.

If Ebony could talk, we're sure she'd join us in saying a big thank you to Leigh for her time and consideration, and wish her every success with her new business.'

HANOVERIAN
'I've owned a young Hanoverian mare for just over 2 years. She came to me from an auction in Germany where her preparation for sale had resulted in her being very anxious about work. She was tense, spooky and nappy to the point of being dangerous to ride.

I tried all sorts of treatments and tried hard to regain her confidence and trust with some success, but she still remained difficult to train.

I was at the point of giving up when I was recommended to try using essential oils and I contacted Leigh.

After a few weeks of treatment my horse has greatly improved; she is much calmer and more relaxed, and has definitely turned an important corner.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this treatment and have asked Leigh to help me with other horses, dogs and cats on my yard.'

Angel and Dylan
'Angel is a dapple grey mare, she's around 5 years old. ..she was a nervous horse already, then had an accident and banged her head quite badly….we struggled even to get a head collar on her, and taking rugs on and off was a task we had to psyche ourselves up to!

Leigh offered to give us a consultation , we got the oils Angel reacted to and started using them; within a couple of days we were able to get a head collar on easily…she became visibly more settled, less nervous and happy horse.

When we got our second horse, Dylan, he was very thin and out of condition, but he was very sweet, although he had that glazed expression of a horse that has suffered…the oil he reacted to was Linden Blossom, the main oil for him…over the next few weeks he began to take more of an interest in life and he seemed to get a bit of sparkle and the condition of his coat slowly improved.

We have had Dylan for over a year now, and have a different horse, he has a shiny coat, sparkling eyes and his personality has really developed! I am sure that the road to Dylan's recovery started with the Linden oil.

We would recommend anyone whose horse has a psychological problem to get in touch with Leigh, it complements traditional recovery methods and the horses love it!!'

ANIMAL MAGIC
I'd like to share my story, with anyone out there, who has an animal, distressed, miserable and unwell. Let me tell you about Micky Frame. He was found by a neighbours relative, he had been thrown onto a motorway, he was under 3 months old, whelt marks all over his tiny, emaciated body, he was also completely baldy. I first set eyes on him, when he was held in a neighbours arms, she told me that she had been knocking on peoples doors, asking if anyone would take him in. They had all commented on his appearance, and pointed out that he was too ugly! ( ugly people inside and out.....obviously! ). I took him out of the neighbours arms, and took him home. I visited the vet, who told me, that he wouldn't survive much longer, and to take him home and let him die. I took him home, but not to die, Micky is made of tougher stuff! He is now 8 years old, and he suffers from a horrific skin condition, Hyper-plastic dermatitis. Over the years, I've tried everything, to keep his skin comfortable, it's been an uphill battle. That was about to change, when I was given the name of Leigh Smyth......

I was in two minds about the service, she offered, telling myself that I'd tried herbs, aromatherapy etc. I decided on booking her to visit Micky, and that visit has changed Mickys life, and mine. Leigh studied Mickys past and present, noticed things about him that no one else had. Micky had been battered and bruised inside, by the trauma and abuse he had suffered, Leigh explained feelings lie deep in animals, and need to be healed, and told me that animals know oils that they need. Leigh then began to offer Micky different oils. He then proceeded to pick out his own remedies, and I couldn't believe my eyes! If I had ever tried anything, he never seemed to want it, here he was happy as can be, around this doctor dolittle character, leigh. That is the only way I can discribe, the scene I was looking at, my cat Mr Merlin was pushing Micky out of the way, and Micky refused to budge. Since Leighs magical visit, Micky sleeps peacefully, his tail wags all the time, and he isn't going for dogs outside, like he used to. He used to be very agressive, due to fear. His steroid intake has also been lowered considerably, the list of changes is endless, because I keep noticing positive changes on a daily basis. My message to all animal owners out there, that have pets who have problems and have tried everything, and still see no joy, then get in touch with leigh@essentialsforequilibrium.co.uk and find the answers to your animals problems.
