Holistic Health For Animals

This course is a new and exciting addition for me. I have devised this course and a similar one considering human health because I truly want to help as many people and animals as possible to gain benefit from holistic methods. I am very privileged to have at my fingertips the knowledge of so many methods which can make such a difference to our lives.

These courses are written as separate entities, but I do hope that anyone who feels they'd like to study with me will commit to both levels in order to benefit the most from them.

Level one is based on Reiki Level One , and helps us consider the nature of holism for animals. We will look at environmental issues that affect our pets both positively and negatively, nutrition issues and the importance of emotions in animals. We will also consider the positive impact animals have on humans.

Level two is based on Reiki Level Two, and additionally we will consider the spirituality of animals, communication of and with animals, and the energy bases in animals. We will also consider a number of common problems animals have, including

• emotional/ behavioural issues
• arthritis
• allergies
• skin complaints
• pain
• digestive problems
• preparing for the death of our animals

Throughout these two courses, we will learn about the benefits of

• herbs and other natural products
• crystals
• magnotherapy
• flower remedies

Students will be able to make up and take away a number of remedies to try at home.

These courses are relevant for all animal lovers, owners who wish to help their animals have a better quality of life, animal professionals such as trainers, grooms, veterinary professionals, therapists and those who wish to develop a career in holistic health . For those who wish to develop a career, I am able to support this building of businesses in a number of ways, and we will consider in Level two how to set up a business, with numerous hints and tips, as well as ongoing support.

The only entrance requirement for this course is a love of animals and a desire to learn more about holistic health in order to help them.

Level one is over 2 days and costs £150
Level two is over 4 days and costs £300

Courses will be held throughout the year in Ripon inYorkshire, Hexham in Northumberland, and Kelso in the Scottish Borders' Please contact me for details of the next course. Other venues possible by arrangement.

The future

From 2008, I will be offering a Master/ Teacher course for a small number of people who wish to help me bring this information to others. Successful candidates will be able to offer training courses with my full support and guidance. This will be discussed more fully on the Level 2 course.
