Holistic Health for Humans

This course will be very similar in format to the Holistic Health for Animals course, but will focus more on human health issues, and will be supported by science and research relevant to people. It is written with my nursing background very much in mind, so is suitable for health and social care professionals, however it is also relevant and accessible for those from different backgrounds.

Level one is based on Reiki level one and additionally considers the impact that food, nutrition and our environment play on our energy bodies, and how to balance out problem areas. The art and science of meditation will be explored and used to help bring lasting peace and harmony.

Level two is based on Reiki level two, and additionally we will consider the impact of spirituality on us as individuals and a society.

We will move on to consider the following common problems and holistic solutions to them

• sleep problems
• acute and chronic pain
• skin problems
• allergies
• digestive problems
• immune system deficiencies
• many other disabling/ life threatening conditions and their impact on individuals and their families/ friends
• emotional issues/ stress and the physical symptoms associated with these states

The additional therapies we will consider throughout these courses include

• the use of herbal / natural remedies
• magnotherapy
• flower remedies
• crystal therapy

As a nurse I am acutely aware of the over reliance on drugs to remedy so many complaints. While I would and could never encourage anyone to stop using prescribed medication, I am very keen to share information and knowledge that may help us all improve and maintain our own health so much better than the majority of us do at the moment.

These courses are, I believe invaluable in bringing into focus for people the issue of our own health. Therefore, they are suitable for everyone, and on completion of Level Two, individuals are able to set up in professional practice in order to bring this information to a wider audience, should they so wish. Full and ongoing support is always available form me to all my students. At Level 2 I will share numerous tips and support for anyone wishing to make this a career.

The level one course is over 2 days and costs £150.00
The level two course is over 4 days and costs £300.00

The Future

From 2008, I will be making available a Master/ Teacher course which will equip a small number of suitable candidates with the knowledge and ability to take these courses out to others. Details will be available on the Level two course.
